“Authentic flavors and hearty portions” Chang’s Noodle is such a gem in Bloomsbury. The hand-pulled noodles are springy and perfectly chewy. Portions are generous and very reasonably priced for central London. I especially loved the beef noodle soup—rich broth, tender meat, and packed with flavour. The place feels casual but warm, great for a quick meal or a comforting bowl on a cold day. Service is fast and friendly, and the food comes out piping hot. Definitely one of the best spots in the area if you’re craving authentic, satisfying Chinese noodles.

We began with their Beef with Ginger & Spring Onions. Each beef was soft and juicy a comforting bite that instantly reminded me of my hometown. The salt and pepper king pawn, perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection, offering just the right crunch without being greasy Another dish that deserves a special mention is their beef noodle soup. The noodles are handmade daily, giving them a chewy texture and paired with a slow-simmered beef broth, it is so delicious Overall it was a good dining experience which is perfect for family gatherings, date nights, or anyone craving for Chinese food

It is just around the corner from the British Museum. Staff told me that they have been around since 2010 and are now celebrating their 15th anniversary — and I can see why they’ve lasted so long. The noodles are completely handmade, with no additives, no shortcuts — just fresh, chewy, and full of that comforting “home-cooked” taste. Even the broth for the stewed noodles is made without artificial stuff, which is rare to find these days.

A nice and cozy place to hide away from the rain, I had their mutton soup pull noodles with sesame sauce, it was comforting and delicious. Very Authentic flavor, it tastes the same like those meals I had when I was traveling in China. The price of the noodles was reasonable given the fact the location is very central. Would definitely go back to try more of their other noodles dish.

I ordered their curry noodle soup, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The curry flavor is rich but not overpowering, perfectly matching the chewy texture of the noodles. The broth is super fragrant with just a hint of spiciness. The fish is also really fresh!

One of my go-to spots in Central London! Stumbled back into Chang’s Noodle after seeing the 20% off on Buymeego—and wow, still as good as I remembered. We had sweet & sour pork, kung pao chicken, and stir-fried pork with peppers—everything packed with flavour and that proper wok heat. Staff were lovely, portions were huge, and we left full and happy for under £20 each. Real comfort food, will definitely come back.

My friend was highly allergic to milk, nuts, eggs, and the staff were very helpful, sensitive and accommodating to her needs! We’ll definitely come up. I’ll bring my Chinese family here

I recently visited Chang’s Noodle, a 16-year-old establishment just a short walk from the British Museum, and it truly felt like discovering a hidden treasure in London! ✅ Braised Tripe Hand-Pulled Noodles– The noodles were perfectly chewy with that authentic handmade texture, and the tripe was tender and flavorful (though the offal taste might be strong for some). ✅ Dry Pot Prawns with Potatoes – This dish was the star! The prawns were fresh, the potatoes crispy yet soft inside, and the wok hei (smoky aroma) brought back memories of street food in China. ❌ Tomato Beef Brisket – The beef was plentiful and tender, but the canned tomato sauce made it taste a bit artificial. ✔ Generous portions – Great value for money! ✔ Friendly owner – The lady boss is super warm and even gave us free drinks when we asked politely! ✔ Now on BuyMeego – New customers get 30% off, making it even more affordable. Pro Tip:If you love bold, hearty flavors, go for the tripe noodles or dry pot dishes—they’re the real deal! Final Verdict: A must-try for noodle lovers! Not perfect, but full of character and authenticity. Will definitely be back! #LondonEats #ChineseFood #BritishMuseum #HandmadeNoodles #HiddenGem

After not seeing a good friend for a while, we met up for dinner at Chang's Noodles, her favorite place. We ordered Maoxuewang and beef noodles. The Maoxuewang arrived in a large bowl, featuring smooth duck blood, thick intestines, crispy tripe, and fresh prawns. It was also topped with enoki mushrooms, tofu skin, and other toppings. It was spicy, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. The beef noodle soup had a rich broth, chewy noodles, and tender, flavorful beef.

The noodles here are absolutely spot on! The lamb noodle soup is delicious and nourishing, perfect for a cold winter day—it's incredibly comforting for the stomach. The ambiance is very pleasant as well; the yellow lighting creates a particularly warm and cozy feeling. All the other dishes were also very tasty. I'll definitely be back!
